Fat Dissolving Injections
You can get rid of your fat
Fat dissolving injections are often described as lunchtime liposuction. We are delighted to be able to offer our patients this fantastic treatment. Aqualyx®, Fat dissolving injections are the market-leading safest & most effective way to eliminate stubborn fatty deposits. Extracting stubborn pockets of unwanted fat has never been easier with the help of modern science. It’s also cheaper in the long run, with essentially no side effects or downtime.
Fat cells are permanently destroyed
Fat cells are the storage form of energy in our body. They can be found around the waistline and abdomen, as well as under the chin and lower cheek area. When we eat too much, these fat cells expand to store the excess calories we consume. Aqualyx® can be used in the face and body to great effect. For small areas such as the jowls and chin, just one sessions can dramatically reduce fat deposits and return a more youthful and defined facial contour. For larger areas like tummies, bingo wings and bums you may need up to 4 sessions to see dramatic results.
Lose weight now
The treatment involves injecting a fat-digesting enzyme into pockets of fat. This enzyme is a naturally occurring chemical in our body. Once injected into the tissue, it works by locking onto the fat cell walls, breaking them down to release fatty acids. The fat cells are permanently destroyed, meaning that the results are permanent. However, clients are advised to maintain a healthy lifestyle and exercise to prevent new fat production.

Fat Dissolving Injections FAQs
An aesthetic practitioner injects the solution containing a fat-digesting enzyme (phosphatidylcholine) into the tissue’s localised far deposits. The fat cells in the areas are then dissolved, and the fat cells are destroyed permanently. The contents of the fat cells are then released and eliminated naturally through the lymphatic system. Does Aqualyx hurt? Patients report minimal discomfort during the treatment. We add lidocaine, a local anesthetic, to the Aqualyx® solution so that the two are injected together. This should minimise discomfort during the procedure.
Results can be fast; nevertheless, it is recommended to have two and five sessions to see a significant effect. Younger patients are more likely to see results after a more extended period of time due to the method Aqualyx® tackles the fat cells.
Your suitability for treatment will be assessed during your free consultation with your aesthetic practitioner before your treatment. Generally, the majority of patients between 18 and 60 years old are suitable for treatment. Aqualyx® is not a suitable treatment during pregnancy or breastfeeding period. It is also contraindicated for patients with diabetes, history including anaphylactic reactions and/or severe allergies, autoimmune diseases, acute or chronic skin diseases in the affected area, other severe organic diseases and liver/kidney disease.
Do not apply any cosmetics to the treated area within 12 hours and avoid direct sources of heat and radiation (UV radiation, sunlight and sauna etc). We recommend you avoid any strenuous exercise for 7 days.
Patients report minimal discomfort during the treatment. We add lidocaine, a local anaesthetic, to the Aqualyx® solution so that the two are injected together. This should minimise discomfort during the procedure.
You will notice a distinct improvement in fat reduction from the first session. However, touch-up treatments may be needed to achieve and maintain the desired effect.
On average, 3-4 treatments at 4-6 weekly intervals are required to achieve the desired result.
